Let me know if you are interested – I can send up to 3 students.
Each of their portfolios can contain no more than 5 pieces of artwork and a one-page artist’s statement about the work. Portfolios must be received by Professor Marlin Adams at least 1 week before the competition (October 15). There are no parameters on what type of art can be submitted, other than fitting in the portfolio.

The Jimmy Carter NHS Education Program is holding an Art Contest which will highlight President Jimmy Carter’s upcoming 85th birthday.
The contest is open to K-12 grade students. Teachers are asked to have students complete their work at school to ensure that all entries are original work by the student.
The winners per grade level will be invited to be in the Peanut Festival Parade in Plains on September 26, 2009 and will have the chance to meet President Carter.
Previous winners of this annual contest can be located at www.jimmycarter.info under In the Spotlight.
