Piedmont College is sponsoring F.A.C.E. The Fine Arts College Experience
Nov. 12-13 & Feb. 4-5, ‘09-’10 for 11th and 12th grade students.
It’s for folks interested in majoring in visual arts, theatre, music, etc.
They get to stay in the dorm, eat in the dining hall, visit classes and do activities. Sounds like fun! Piedmont is in Demorest, Ga.

I don’t know much about them, but a new group called Campus Club is starting up in Milledgeville. They will be offering different classes int he arts including creative writing, voice, piano, percussion, recording techniques, dance, photography, and more.

The Middle georgia Art Association is presenting “In Motion,” now through Aug. 14, at the Middle Georgia Art Association Gallery, 2330 Ingleside Ave. in Ingleside Village in Macon. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday, noon-5pm, and Saturday, noon-3pm. This is a free event for all ages.
The Others – From Folk to Fiber Art
Invent your own artform? Grandma or Dad teach you a craft?
This exhibition and competition is open to all artists who are self-taught in their medium, or whose craft has been handed down through the generations. Formally trained artists are eligible for this exhibition if self-taught int he medium entered.
